Welcome. My name is Larry Reynosa and I am the Chief Instructor at Makoto Dojo. I currently hold the rank of Rokudan (6th Degree Black Belt). I have dedicated my life to nurturing and spreading the teachings of kindness, compassion, honesty and integrity through the practice of Aikido. My personal goal is to “be the teachings” and inspire others to do the same. Over the past 34 years, I have been asked to supervise Dojos in Chico and San Ramon, CA; Kansas City and St. Louis, MO; Corpus Christi, TX; Chicago, IL; Remscheid and Siegen, Germany; Maceio and Manaus, Brazil; Cali, Colombia; St. Hubert, Canada; Malaga, Spain; Capetown and Durban, South Africa. I have been invited to conduct seminars in these as well as many other locations around the world. Makoto Dojo is the headquarters for the Makoto Aikido Kyokai, Inc. which is a certified member of International Aikido Federation which has world headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. All Makoto Dojo instructors are committed to following the way of the Founder of Aikido Morihei Ueshiba, fondly referred to as O’Sensei. All DAN (Black Belt) ranks and certificates are received from the Hombu Dojo and issued by the present Doshu, Moriteru Ueshiba. A great teacher once said, “If you want to see your past life, look into your present condition; if you want to see your future life, look at your present actions.” Please join us and take positive actions in creating yourself as a great human...being for all beings and a better understanding of peace in the world! Onegaisimasu!
