Ryan ReynosaBill Kending

Hello, my name is Ryan L. Reynosa and I have been studying Aikido for most of my life.  In case the name didn’t give it away, I am Sensei Larry Reynosa’s son.  My father began teaching me Aikido at the age of 3, which essentially began his kid’s program.  Throughout my childhood, I continued to train and quickly developed a strong passion for Aikido that still burns to this day.
Currently I hold the rank of Nidan (Second Degree Black Belt) and I am one of the assistant instructors at Makoto Dojo.  At Makoto Dojo School of Aikido, I truly believe that we are dedicated to progressive, honest, and valuable training.  One of our goals is to train in a way that allows us to bridge the gap between the dojo and the street.  We are willing to address the reality of violence in our world today, and dedicated to developing real world skills in self-defense.
In class, my goals are: to create a positive atmosphere, work on effective techniques, develop strong fundamentals, as well as having fun while training.  Training at Makoto Dojo will improve your physical fitness, increase self-confidence, develop awareness of your surroundings, and create the possibility of protecting yourself in the face of a violent attack.  I encourage you to come down and join us at Makoto Dojo School of Aikido.
