Preston Ferrell

Preston began his Aikido career with Makoto Dojo in January of 1999. He served 10-months living at the dojo as uchi deshi to Reynosa Sensei. In September of that year the T.S.A.A. (Ten Shin Aikido Association) was formed and he was appointed Secretary of that organization. When the T.S.A.A. was dissolved in 2002 and re-created as the M.A.K. (Makoto Aikido Kyokai) he remained on as Secretary.

Prior to studying Aikido, Preston had studied other arts since early 1991 and achieved dan ranks in Tae Kwon Do, Combat Hapkido, Yoshitsune Waza Jujitsu and Progressive Jujitsu. In 1995, Preston opened his first Dojo, Golden Dragon Tae Kwon Do. He moved to Arizona in 2005 and opened Seishin Dojo, a name christened by Reynosa Sensei, as a certified dojo of the M.A.K. Additionally, he studied Tai Chi and Chi Lel Qigong for several years while at Makoto Dojo.as formed and he was appointed Secretary of that organization. When the T.S.A.A. was dissolved in 2002 and re-created as the M.A.K. (Makoto Aikido Kyokai) he remained on as Secretary.

Preston’s journey is supplemented as a recognized practitioner of Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui through the Lin Yun Temple in Berkeley, California and the Feng Shui Dynasty (formerly Feng Shui Advanced Studies Institute) in Scottsdale, Arizona; a journey which began in 1997.
